Will my 'borrowed' copy of fcp 7 work on another mac?

I was given FCP Studio and on my macbook pro and I want to sell my macbook and get a imac.

I'm concerned though that my programs will not be able to be installed successfully on my imac.

I also have final draft and word package installed on here.

Is there a way to transfer my programs successfully?
